A crescendo of mistreatment, since November last yearaggravated by death threats, made even in the presence of the youngest daughter. Physical and psychological abuse, told by the woman to the Carabinieri of Reggio, during a particularly painful deposition. Subsequent investigations led to the man being reported to the Prosecutor’s Office for domestic abuse. For the 50 year old, the ban on approaching the victim was thus triggered, with the obligation to stay at least 500 meters from the wife’s home and from the places she frequents. Also prohibited from communicating with or approaching the woman’s daughter and closest relatives. However, the precautionary measure decided at the end of May was not enough to appease the man who, regardless of the GIP’s provisions, he continued to bother his wife with frequent telephone calls and, above all, he contacted his daughter, threatening to make her pay and to cut off her head if she did not tell him where her mother was, as well as to kill the mother herself. And so today, after further checks by the police, the Reggio prosecutor’s office has decided to proceed with the arrest of the 50-year-old who is now under house arrest with electronic bracelet application.
