The big day has arrived for Diletta Leotta. Today, the well-known Dazn journalist will marry Loris Karius, the German goalkeeper of Newcastle United, on the island of Vulcano, part of the Aeolian archipelago. The wedding will take place in a church on the island of Lipari, while the reception and party will follow in Vulcano.
To make the day even more special there will be a musical show with Elodie, Diletta’s close friend and bridesmaid, while Eleonora Berlusconi, according to some rumours, will be the bride’s best man. Diletta Leotta announced her marriage to Loris Karius a few months ago, sharing a photo featuring an engagement ring and the caption: “I said yes.”
The proposal took place last summer, before the birth of their first child, Aria, but the couple had decided to keep the news private until then. The wedding will see the participation of over 160 guests, many of whom have already arrived yesterday to take part in the pre-wedding white party and celebrate Karius’ birthday who turns 31 today.
Among the well-known faces from the world of entertainment who have joined the celebrations since yesterday are Chiara Ferragni, Elisabetta Canalis, Michelle Hunziker, Aurora Ramazzotti, Elena Barolo and the two YouTubers, Luì and Sofi, just to name a few. Chiara Ferragni was among the first celebrities to reach the island of Vulcano. The entrepreneur, who traveled without her children, shared some shots on Instagram that portray her while she enjoyed a croissant outside Catania airport and then in the company of her bride.
