The sweetest event of the year is back, with the collaboration of the association The most beautiful villages in Italy: Saturday 22 June In 2024 the ninth edition of the Romantic night, a candlelit evening dedicated to lovers (and not only). The initiative, created to celebrate love in all its forms, now gathers around 200 members annually among the Italian villages belonging to the circuit, and attracts an average of 500 thousand visitors.
The event is spread throughout the national territory and involves many of the municipalities that are part of the “Most beautiful villages in Italy” club. In Liguria they participate in the Romantic Night 2024: Ameglia (village of Montemarcello), Open them, Badalucco, Borgio Verezzi (village of Verezzi), Campo Ligure, Celle Liguria, Cypress (village of Tongue), Diano Castello, Framura, Laigueglia, Lerici (village of Tellaro), Moneglia And Taggia. All these Ligurian villages are animated by music, initiatives and themed dishes.
Among the highlights of the evening, there are two particularly romantic and engaging initiatives. The dessert Thought of Love, created by the renowned chef Ilaria Salvadori, is served in the restaurants of the participating villages. Furthermore, at midnight, the participating villages organize a symbolic moment: the midnight kisscrowned by the launch of thousands of biodegradable balloons.
Each village prepares a personalized program, respecting the basic format of the Association, but giving space to imagination and creativity to celebrate love in all its forms. Even in Liguria, each village offers an experience that combines music, theatre, dance, cinema, exhibitions, screenings, competitions and many other initiatives dedicated to love and romance.
