Santa Marinella is among the five locations in Lazio recommended by Paese Online, a reference web portal for travel and holiday enthusiasts. In fact, in recent days, an article has been published in the well-known magazine, translated into five languages, in which the city is included among the “hidden wonders of Lazio”.

The presence of the Castle of Santa Severa, with its long golden beach, adds a touch of history and mystery. Mayor Pietro Tidei has no doubts in this sense, also thanks to the first data for the 2024 bathing season provided by Arpa Lazio, the regional agency for environmental protection, which promotes the city with excellent marks on most of the findings carried out.
“It is always a pleasure to read good news about our city in important and internationally distributed sector magazines,” declared the Mayor.
“Santa Marinella is known for being much appreciated by sea lovers, who find in the clear and rocky seabed a habitat that respects the ecosystem of many living species – continues the First Citizen – Recently, we have supported various awareness initiatives on respect for environment and the sea, promoting the cleaning of the seabed from waste and plastic.
We hope to be able to do more and more with information campaigns in schools and in the city, so that the attention that the environment and our sea deserve to have grows. We invite our loyal visitors and those who want to discover the beauty of the area, to stay in the city and practice water sports along our 22 kilometers of coastline: from sailing to snorkelling, from water skiing to surfing and windsurfing. We are certain that they will appreciate the natural and landscape beauties that our coast offers, not forgetting the mainland and the historical and archaeological assets of which we are rich”, concluded Mayor Tidei.
