The National Archery Final was held on 15 and 16 June in the Piana delle Orme park in Latina, organized by the Italian Archery Federation (FITARCO). Pinocchio Trophy – Odilia Coccato Memorial. Tuscany wins for the second time, ahead of the defending champions Sicily and Veneto.
But, although Sicily as a region ranks second, after Tuscany and before Veneto, the archer who wins the national gold, first place in the men’s Olympic Arch – Boys 2011 category is Sicilian. Daniele Virgonesociety archer ASD Nebrodi Archers of Torrenova (Me) which took first place with 462 points, getting the better of 35 participants from all Italian regions.
The national archery finals of the Pinocchio Trophy 2024 saw the best athletes competing from all the Italian regions and selected from the classes between 2015 and 2011. The event attracted around 250 archers and over 500 participants including coaches and technicians.
At the end of a competition with 48 arrows, the regional and individual rankings were defined. All the individual results of the competing athletes contributed to drawing up the final ranking by Region, ultimately confirming the victory of Tuscany (with 6470 points) followed by Sicily (with 6402 points).
For the ASD Arcieri dei Nebrodi, the Gold of Daniele Virgoneconstitutes a very important milestone at the culmination of a journey made of dreams, hopes, professionalism and a lot of training.
Sicily, in addition to second place as a region and the gold medal won by Virgone, obtains excellent positions for all the young participating archers.
In the Arco Oli categorympico – Boys 2013-2014-2015 Prato Samuele, Calderone Mariano Antonino, Fiorello Dario stand out. In the same Girls categoryIerna Sophia (who placed on the podium taking third place), Laudani Michela Maria and Oneto Matilde Stella

Also present were the President FITARCO SICILIA, Ippolito Renato and the technical staff composed of Fuchsova Guglielmo Donato, Corsaro Angelo Antonio, Fuchsova Hellas, Potoschi Daniela and Scribani Adriano.
