The search for Aldino Zecca, the pensioner from Zibello of whom there has been no news since early yesterday afternoon, continued throughout the day today, and will also continue tonight and tonight, along the Po, since, like every day , had gone on the Po for a canoe ride: one of his great passions together with cycling. The searches never stopped, they continued even at night, even with the use of sophisticated infrared drones.
They are conducted by the firefighters of the provincial command of Parma together with their colleagues from other Emilian provinces. They are carried out both directly on the river, with the use of boats and with the incessant work of the divers (also arriving from Ravenna and Livorno), and from the sky (with the Bologna helicopter unit and the drone unit) and from the ground with dog units.
The carabinieri of the Fidenza company are also on the field. For now, however, there is no trace of Zecca, who knew the river very well and had been canoeing for many years. The searches do not stop and another night of incessant work on the Po is looming for the firefighters.
