After the previews, Inside Out 2 officially arrived in theaters and it was like an earthquake, with an extraordinary gross of 2,961,882 euros (401,767 spectators) for a total of 3,934,462 euros. The average is also exceptional: 6,275 euros per cinema (472). This is in fact the best debut since the pandemic, even better than that of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2,950,252 euros). The last film to do better was Tolo Tolowith the record of 8.8 million on January 1st 2020. The takings of the first one also tripled Inside Outreleased in 2015.
The Pixar film takes the significantly larger share of yesterday’s Box Office, which thanks to its takings reaches 3,274,136 euros (449,240 spectators), +375% compared to 21 June 2023 and +540% compared to one week ago when it was part of Cinema in Festa. The other titles on the podium are very far away: Bad Boys – Ride Or Die grosses 89 thousand euros and rises to 1.1 million, debuting in third place for The Bikeriderswith 53 thousand euros and over 7 thousand attendances.
