Mara Favro’s latest messages – DiLei

It was Women’s Day the last time she was seen Mara Favro, 51 years old from Susa, Piedmont. Such a long time to go from a missing person report to a murder investigation. During the Wednesday 19 June 2024 episode of Who has seen?who has been dealing with the case for some time, Federica Sciarelli has returned to talk about Mara and new clues regarding her last days.

TO Who has seen? the latest messages from Mara Favro

A long time has passed, over three months now, since the disappearance of Mara Favro, a worker and mother from the town of Susa. For just as long, Federica Sciarelli and the editorial staff of Who has seen? they deal with his case and, in the last episode of the investigative show, they revealed the finding what could be the house keys of Mara. They were found near a well, on a country road. The images were shown by the lawyer Nicodemo Gentile, who is assisting the family of the woman who, according to what the investigations suggest, may have been the victim of murder.

Together with the lawyer, Sciarelli went over it again the last hours before his disappearance of Favro, through the messages sent by the woman to friends and family. There are those exchanged with the employer, the last one to see her, around half past two in the morning, when at the end of the shift at the pizzeria, Mara hitchhiked back to the place to retrieve the house keys that she had forgotten . “Immediately afterwards she set off on foot towards Susa” said the owner.

In the previous hours, Mara had spoken with Massimiliano, her ex-husband, to organize the time to spend with her daughter. She had written to her brother Fabrizio and, more frequently, to a friend who, recently, seemed to be about to transform into something more. Mara made plans for the following days, nothing strange transpired from her words.

The ex-husband’s fears

After meeting her friend for breakfast the next day, Mara sent songs and photos to him and her daughter throughout the night. The last message dates back to 6.20 am on March 8: “I quit my job, they treat me like a rag. But I’m worth much more.” she writes to the man she was supposed to have a date with a few hours later. From that moment, Favro’s phone stopped being available and there were no traces of her anymore.

But those words, according to the ex-husband Maximilian, interviewed during the broadcast, do not belong to Mara: “It is unusual that she was awake at that time of night. And she, even if she didn’t sleep, she didn’t send musical messages. I wouldn’t attribute this language to Mara because ‘football’ is not used in Northern Italy. We also have the doubt that her last messages, even those from her with her friend, were written by a third person to make people think that Mara was still alive at that time.”

Even the lawyer Gentile has doubts about the latest Whatsapp chat of the woman: “It’s strange that she asked Davide to have breakfast at 9, when she’s still awake at 6. The cross-referencing of data, messages and the location of the phones will certainly help to clarify.”
