NewTuscia – ROME – Promote the development of culture and managerial presence in SMEs and hotel businesses in Lazio; identify the new training needs of companies and managers to optimize investments in human capital; sharing good practices and business management methods, especially in the regional hotel and tourism sector, capable of enhancing the territory and its economy in view of the 2025 Jubilee. These are the main objectives set by “Memorandum of understanding to promote initiatives aimed at enhancing the managerial component of human capital and to incentivize business and local competitiveness” signed this morning by the Lazio Region, Manageritalia Lazio, Federmanager Rome and Federalberghi Lazio.

The protocol was signed by the Councilor for Work, School and Training of the Lazio Region, Giuseppe Schiboniby the president of Manageritalia Lazio, Thomas Saso, by the General Director of Federalberghi Rome, Tommaso Tanzilli and by the president of Federmanager Roma, Gherardo Zei.

«The objective of the protocol is to increase managerial skills and thus respond to the European indications of relaunching the growth of the regions and territories to be based on the close interdependence between economic development and the development of human resources. As the Lazio Region, we believe it is essential to discuss the challenges of the future in order to define shared paths together aimed at promoting the competitiveness of businesses, starting from tourism ones, enhancing their skills and knowledge in the name of a continuous exchange of information that has training and innovation”, declared the councilor for Work, School, Training, Research and Merit of the Lazio Region, Giuseppe Schiboni.

«The strong collaboration and synergy between public and private expressed by this protocol represents a fundamental step to encourage the growth of the Lazio region by investing in the skills of managers to give new vigor to businesses in view of a fundamental event for the local economy such as Jubilee 2025. An action, which also thanks to desirable subsequent measures, will have positive effects on entrepreneurs who will be able to take advantage of a new and greater business culture following a far-sighted and concrete collaboration of all stakeholders aimed precisely at updating skills”, explained the president of Manageritalia Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Sardinia and Umbria, Thomas Saso.

The protocol will last two years from the moment of signing and will be tacitly renewed

«Also in view of the drive that the next Jubilee will provide to tourism and the entire local economy, this Protocol which unites public and private – with the aim of growing our managerial heritage and business competitiveness – embodies an opportunity of extreme importance , to whose full development it will be our primary commitment to contribute by aiming for the maximum realization of all its potential”, added the general director of Federalberghi Roma, Tommaso Tanzilli.

There are three objectives set by the charter, the first is to identify those training and professional needs, aimed at spreading the managerial culture, which are required by the world of businesses and managers, to intervene appropriately in the planning activities of the interventions. The second objective is to promote paths and measures aimed at investing in learning, knowledge, innovation and the acquisition of managerial skills in the strategic sectors of the Lazio production system and the regional tourism system. Finally, the third objective is aimed at sharing and transferring successful managerial experiences and best practices useful to the sector thanks to shared participation in institutional events.

«With the signing of this protocol we consolidate a strategic synergy for the socio-economic development of our Region, with adequate managerial skills, our companies can face the ongoing transitions and overcome the challenges of change.
