Valeri to Parma: The Reasons Behind the Choice
Emanuele Valeri, after numerous speculations that he was close to Lazio, has instead signed for Parma. Daniele Ferri, the full-back’s agent, provided a detailed explanation of the reasons that led to this decision in an interview with Sport Italia.

Daniele Ferri explained: “Valeri chose Parma after a call from the coach. Of all the options available, he chose this one for several reasons. The call from the coach who already knows him from his time at Cremonese was decisive, in addition to the ambitious club, the greatness of the club, the project and the place.”.
Interest of Other Clubs
The agent continued: “I can’t reveal the names of the other teams for reasons of fairness, but there were five requests for Valeri. I went to five club offices to discuss him. As regards Lazio, there have been no further contacts. In January we had everything ready with the Biancocelesti, but due to a contractual detail, not linked to the player, the agreement fell through”.
A Growth Opportunity for Valeri
“The move to Parma represents the right path for Emanuele to grow further after two years in Serie A”, added Ferri. “In Parma he will have the opportunity to raise the bar and continue his development. In the months in Frosinone he started slowly due to the six months of inactivity in Cremona, where he walked around the pitch without playing. Now he has proven his worth once he is back in shape”.
