A battery shed caught fire in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday 19 June in the industrial area of Monza. Firefighters are containing the flames and immersing the batteries in tanks full of water.

A fire it broke out during the night between Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th June in the industrial area of Monza. A warehouse owned by a trading company caught fire electric batteries. The firefighters said that no one was involved in the fire and that the flames are now under control. At this time the battery cooling present inside the building. The firefighters of the via Cavallotti command will carry out investigations during the day to understand what started the fire.
The rescue efforts started in the early hours of June 19th, a few minutes before 4. On site, a warehouse in Viale Stucchi, in the Monza industrial area, two tankers, a ladder truck, an emergency wagon, a foam wagon and the vehicle of the guard official were brought in.
The flames were immediately contained by the firefighters of Monza and Brianza, in order to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings in the surrounding area. With a note the Command announced that “battery cooling” operations are still underway. This, they explain, is done through theirs immersion in tanks specially filled with water.
