“Lazio wins the ‘Catena’ Memorial, a tournament reserved for the Under 8 category. The very young eagles born in 2016 led by coach Riccardo Ricci passed the preliminary round thanks to two victories and a draw. The Biancocelesti won with a result of 9-3 against Spes Artiglio, with a clear 10-2 against Savio while against Cinecittà Bettini they were unable to go beyond 6-6. Lazio enters the semi-final where they face and beat Accademia Calcio Roma in goleada with the result of 18-4. Esposito and Onofri enter the scoresheet with one goal each, Pacolini scores four, Salvatori scores five, while a wild Pennetti scores seven. The very young eagles win the pass to the final. In the last act of the event, the Biancocelesti imposed themselves again on Spes Artiglio, this time with the result of 7-1 thanks to goals from Oddi, Piccirillo and Onofri, while it was poker for Pacolini. Coach Riccardo Ricci’s Under 8 team raises the largest trophy of the “Catena” Memorial to the sky.

Lazio passes the preliminary round thanks to victories against Campofilone 11-0, 5-0 against Monterondo, 8-2 against Accademia Frascati, concluding with a 12-0 goleada against Colleverde. In the final, the very young eagles meet Ternana, regulation time ends 3-3 with goals from Febbraro and a brace from the usual Mendogho. It was the penalty kicks that decided the eagles as winners of the tournament thanks to the final 5-4. Andrea Proni’s Under 10 ends the season with the gold medal around his neck in the “Capital Cup” tournament, personal satisfaction also for the very young Samuele Colasanti, awarded as best goalkeeper.
Bronze medal for the Under 11 team led by Ivano Iannuzzi at the ‘Peruch’ Tournament. The Biancocelesti born in 2013 won the first group by beating Grifone 2-0 and prevailing with a 13-0 goal against Boreale. In the second group, Lazio beat Spes Montesacro 7-0 and won the derby against Roma 3-0 thanks to Umbrello’s goal and Sestili’s brace. Mister Iannuzzi’s Lazio lost the match against Fiorentina 1-2, while against Empoli D’Ascenzi’s goal was not enough, the Biancocelesti were defeated in the match against the Tuscans with the result 1-2.
