The stretch called via Marx in Puianello di Quattro Castella remained closed for a few hours this morning. It will remain one-way alternating, regulated by traffic lights, until the work to secure the house hit by the car is completed.

QUATTRO CASTELLA (Reggio Emilia) – The stretch of state road 63 which takes the name of via Marx in Puianello di Quattro Castella, affected by the accident on the night between Sunday and Monday, remained closed for a few hours this morning. In fact, in the morning the technicians appointed by the Municipality pruned the branches of the trees overlooking the road to increase visibility, especially at night: the street lamps were partially covered by branches. The stretch will in fact remain alternating one-way, regulated by traffic lights, until the work to secure the house hit by the car is completed. The Volkswagen Turan, driven by a 55-year-old North African woman, in fact knocked down part of the wall of the old house on the state road at number 33. The area was also cordoned off with an iron gate to prevent other debris from ending up on the free road. Meanwhile, the conditions of the injured, three women and a 6-year-old child, are improving. Their lives are not in danger.
