An elderly man hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Santa Scolastica hospital in Cassino is in desperate conditions, after attempted suicide. From what we understand the man, an elderly man, tried to kill himself by hanging himself. According to what has been reconstructed so far the beam around which the rope was tied he gave in and fell to the ground. The alarm was raised by his family, who found him in desperate conditions, unconscious. When the call arrived to the Single Emergency Number 112, medical personnel arrived on site in an ambulance.

Paramedics rescued and took care of the man, transporting him to code red at the Santa Scolastica hospital in Cassino. Upon arriving at the emergency room, the patient was entrusted to the care of the doctors, who subjected him to the necessary investigations. From what we understand, his condition is very serious and he risks dying. Doctors do not comment on the outcome of their surgery.
