He lost control of the car he was driving, in which he was alone, and – for reasons still under investigation – crashed violently into an external concrete wall of a house. It happened last night around 10.30 pm in via Serre, an internal side street that climbs from Casilina into the Ripi area, not far from the well-known “Meringo” venue (in an initial phase, according to the very first information, there was talk of two car and more injured).
The man, a 48 year old originally from Romania. he was stuck between the sheets of metal, so much so that the intervention of the Frosinone firefighters was necessary to free him. Also on site were the carabinieri and healthcare workers from the Ares 118 of Frosinone.
After the first moments of apprehension, in which the worst was also feared, the man’s clinical situation fortunately appeared less serious than expected. Once extracted from the wreckage by the firefighters and entrusted to the care of 118 personnel, the 48-year-old appeared to be injured but not seriously.
He was then loaded into an ambulance and taken to the “Spaziani” hospital in Frosinone for further checks and treatment. His condition is not serious. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
