It ended, with success of the Independentthe 4th edition of the Shalom Women’s Soccer Toner Italia Cup. After the presentation on 13 June, held at the Collarile Tabacchi Bar in Benevento, in the presence of the highest federal authorities, by the President of the CRC, Carmine Zigarellito the Deputy Vice President, Giuliana Tambarostarted at “Lino Mastronardi” stadium in Pietrelcina the women’s football tournament with something new. In fact, compared to the last edition, the participating teams have become six, divided into two groups of three teams each. With the triangular formula, three 45 minute matches, on 14 June the team from Casertamilitant in the Campania championship of excellence, the Pomigliano and the Naples, Serie A teams took to the field with spring training. The following day it was the turn of group B which saw the players take to the field the Independentdefending champion, militant in the Serie C championship, the Saint Anthony the Abbot, from the Campania championship of excellence, and the Campobasso coming from the excellence of Abruzzo.
On Sunday 16 June the 5th/6th place finals were played with the victory of Campobasso against Caserta, the 3rd/4th place final with Pomigliano’s victory over Sant’Antonio Abate and the final between Independent and Naples who saw the girls of Marano triple the successes, after the victories of the two previous editions, through the lottery of penalty kicks. Spectacular end of the evening with the awards ceremony for the participating teams in the presence of the highest federal authorities of the FIGC-LND Campania, the President Carmine Zigarelli and the Vice President Giuliana Tambaro who have enthusiastically supported the event from the beginning and awarded all the athletes. Also present was the Provincial Delegate of Benevento of the FIGC-LND Vincenzo Lombardi, the CONI delegate the lawyer. Mario CollarGianni VarricchioProvincial President of the AIAC of Benevento and for the Municipal Administration of Pietrelcina, the Councilors Daniela Tizzani and Cosimo Iadanza who have made an appointment for the next edition. The Shalom caravan doesn’t stop here, the next appointment for the 39th edition of the men’s trophy starting from June 20th to June 23rd in Paduli.
