A year after winning the Centenary edition, Ferrari achieves new success at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most famous and renowned endurance race in the world.

The first to pass under the checkered flag, receiving applause from the fans, was the 499P number 50 of the official Ferrari – AF Corse team driven to the finish line by Nicklas Nielsen, who shared the car with Miguel Molina and Antonio Fuoco.

Third was the “twin” Le Mans Hypercar, number 51 of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi.

For the Prancing Horse, this is the 11th overall victory in the classic French endurance marathon, the second consecutive after the one obtained on 11 June 2023 with the 499P number 51: the previous ones date back to 1949, 1954, 1958, and the years between 1960 and 1965.

Furthermore, the Maranello company’s roll of honor at Le Mans includes 29 class victories: the overall victories therefore reach 40.

The race, valid as the fourth round of the FIA WEC 2024, saw the 499P number 83 of the AF Corse team – which had been a protagonist for a long time, also occupying the lead – withdraw after 248 laps.
