(SAY) Rome, 16 June. – The 14th edition of ‘La Pellicola D’oro’ ended yesterday, the final ceremony of which was held in via Veneto in Rome, following the presentation of the nominations and special awards which took place at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy last May. Present at the event were great personalities of Italian cinema who came to receive the coveted award promoted and organized by the cultural association “SAS Cinema” of which the president is the set designer and director Enzo De Camillis. This year, different generations of actors and professionals crossed paths, voted by a jury made up of 260 professionals and awarded during the evening masterfully conducted by Sabina Stilo. “The film award – we read in the note from the organizers – was born and aims to support the trades and craftsmanship of our Italian cine-audiovisual industry which are the backbone of a film. The protagonists of the evening, in addition to the workers, were the well-known faces of the big and small screen taken by the assault of photographers. Among these: Elena Sofia Ricci, Michele Placido and Sergio Martino who received the Special Prize.

The evening begins and during the awards ceremony given by Giorgia Passarelli, Production Director of the film “C’è Ancora Tomorrow”, Paola Cortellesi unexpectedly arrives on stage and also receives the award for Best Cinema Actress. While the award for Best Cinema Actor was awarded to Valerio Mastandrea and the winners of the Best Fiction Actor and Actress awards were Michele Riondino and Miriam Leone who thanked the organizers through a video message. Among those present in the competition, the actors Michele Di Mauro, the young Greta Gasbarri and Gianmarco Franchini. Furthermore, among the guests present were the actors: Francesco Gheghi, Mita Medici, Maria Pia Calzone, Emilio Franchini, the director Pierfrancesco Pingitore, the costume designer Graziella Pera, the producers Matteo Levi, Sergio Giussani and Gianluca Leurini, the radio speaker Myriam Fecchi and the director Ivano De Matteo who received the youth award (jury composed of students from the Cine TV Rossellini Institute of Rome) for the Best Film “Mia”. And then the Councilor for Culture of Rome, Miguel Gotor, the deputy director of Rai Fiction, Ivan Carlei, the RAI director of Isoradio Alessandra Ferraro, the director of Rome Lazio Film Commission Cristina Priarone, the president of the Via Veneto association Elisabetta Calò , the extraordinary commissioner of the FilmCommission Lazio Mariella Troccoli, the president of the Genova Liguria Film Commission Cristina Bolla, the director and set designer Massimo Spano, the president of the MEI Paolo Masini and the lawyer Giovanna Silvaggi.
