Pozan – Success in the men’s singles pararowing for Giacomo Perini who, during the last World Cup event taking place in Poland, in Poznan, won silver behind the British Pritchard. A race during which the Italian, full of the Paralympic preparation carried out on the hills in Livigno, was unable to recover the gap that the Briton, bronze at the 2024 European Championships where Perini won silver, had taken in the first part. Now Giacomo Perini will continue his preparation for the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
Satisfaction for Italy also comes for the Azzurri who have established themselves in the final points classification of the Cup of the only Pielle Olympic boat, the double, thanks to the successes achieved by the couple formed by Gabriel Soares (Navy) and Stefano Oppo (Carabinieri ) in Varese and Lucerne.
Finally, as regards the four with PR3 Maschile, of Marco Frank, Tommaso Schettino, Carolina Foresti, Greta Elizabeth Muti, and Enrico D’Aniello at the helm, despite changing the formation it did not go beyond sixth place. The offshore preparation done for Perini also applies to this boat. The international part ends with the World Cup in Poznan and the focus is firmly on the Olympics in forty days and the Paralympics in seventy-three.
