TORANO – His name was Luciano Falcone, the 40-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life yesterday afternoon 15 June 2024 in a road accident between the Torano and Tarsia junctions. The centaur, originally from Bisignano, was traveling along the motorway towards Salerno on his Ducati when, for reasons still under investigation, he lost control of his motorcycle and died. Luciano Falcone, an OSS by profession, was an esteemed and well-liked young man in his community and was also very active in the field of volunteering: he was, in fact, part of the “Montalto Soccorso Odv” association.

Have a safe trip Luciano.” Numerous messages of condolence and pain on social media, especially addressed to his young wife Nunzia.

Medical personnel intervened at the scene of the accident with the aid of the air ambulance; Anas teams and the traffic police were also present to manage traffic and to allow the restoration of regular traffic. For much of yesterday afternoon, traffic remained blocked along the A2 motorway – in the direction of Salerno – at the Torano and Tarsia junctions following the accident.
