The second day of NaNo Film Festival confirms the trend of the opening day.
The day opened with the screening of the short film Make a movie? created by the young students of the cinema course held as part of the new project NanoFilm+. Great participation and euphoria for these young dreamers preparing for the cinema of tomorrow.
Much interest was also shown in the three categories competing on 14 June: Comedy, Animation and Documentary Short. The films shown were followed by a growing number of spectators.
The evening in the theater then ended with the screening of Mighty Afrin: in the time of flood by Greek director Angelos Rallis, the second of three long documentaries for the section Out of competition.
This evening the red carpet also saw the presence of some of the authors of the competing films, including Arianna Massimi (States of childhood), Marco Balzano (Livorno ’42) and Zoey Stein (The Painter).
I start with a smile for the literary salon which opened at 5pm with a contagious and fun atmosphere Yawn. Children’s opera by Ivana Esposito And Michelina Grasso began to create a magical atmosphere, which then continued with the presentation of Donatella Schisa and its beautiful In Naples with Massimo Troisi. The author in conversation with Dave Given it made us relive some exciting moments of our Massimo’s career and we found ourselves taking a metaphorical walk with the most iconic director of cinematography born on the slopes of Vesuvius.
Immediately afterwards we immersed ourselves in the mystery of Anna Calì with The melodies of the gulf.
The live podcast then started at 7.45pm Stream ‘e Napule. The two conductors Filippo Filetti And Bobby Cavallo they talked – and drank wine – together with Fabio Brescia And Vincenzo Lamagna. Many topics were covered with the usual liveliness and interesting points of view from the two guests.
In the living room the evening ends with the intense presentation of the novel The animal kingdom Of Alfonso Tramontano Warrior who, with his straight style and his way of presenting himself to the public, led us to a Naples that is a little underground and a little metaphysical in which a story with strong content yet rich in poetry and truth is told.
