MONSELICE (PADUA) – Serious accident at 10.30 this morning along the state road 16, at the intersection with via Carpanedo, near the border with the Municipality of Solesino. A Fiat 500 car driven by a 75-year-old from Este and a Yamaha MT motorbike driven by a 38-year-old from Stanghella were involved.
From initial information, it seems that the car coming from via Carpanedo was about to cross the SS16 when, for reasons yet to be clarified, it violently collided with the motorcycle which, coming from Solesino, was headed towards Monselice. In the collision, the driver of the car remained unharmed, while the motorcyclist he suffered several injuries. The man was transported to the emergency room in Padua with thehelicopter of the Suem. His condition caused concern, even though the injured man was conscious at the time of the operation. The surveys and restoration operations were coordinated by the local police of Monselice.
