However, the name of the coach is not yet mentioned in the note released yesterday by the club.
If there are no last-minute surprises, Gianluigi Galetti will take up the baton that was held by Mauro Zappi until April. Until a few days ago, the future new Virtussino coach was involved in the playoffs with Pergine Valsugana, which he led to promotion to Serie C.
Galetti is a veteran of the bench with experience in Fiorenzuola D’Arda, Faenza, Riva del Garda, Casale Monferrato, Senigallia, Palestrina, Ravenna, San Severo and Scauri. In the last season he decided to start again from a minor series where he achieved the jump in category. Now he is ready to be announced by the V Imola and with him there will be Aki Zarifi in the role of deputy, with Andrea Zotti who will continue his career as assistants. Over the last decade, the latter has worked alongside Altieri, Lunghini, Marchi, Tassinari, Regazzi and Zappi. Galetti will now be added to this large number of coaches. This time Zotti will not be the only one to talk about the Virtus environment, but with him an ideal support like Zarifi who has been at home in the yellow and black for his entire life. The sporting director, the club and the coach Galetti have obviously already spoken about the group to be set up, we will start again from the confirmations of Masciarelli, Valentini, Magagnoli and Fiusco, the latter returning from a knee injury.
The position of Daniel Ohenhen needs to be evaluated, Cividale would like to keep him for the next Serie A2 championship, Virtus thought about it more than once after the excellent tournament played.
