Big surprises at this edition: the magnificent eight who will compete for the trophy

The magnificent eight are ready to hunt for the Pulcino d’Oro. Huge surprises on the pitches, in the arenas, of Viale Lido in Levico Terme, with Juventus, Milan, Roma, Atalanta, the Spanish of Atletico Madrid, the English of Leeds United, the Portuguese of Benfica and the Argentinians of River Plate making up the two groups of the Pulcino d’Oro.
The 2024 edition of the Pulcino d’Oro International Tournament is preparing to experience its final act. Compelling and followed like never before, with a large audience in the stands and tuned into the event’s social channels with live coverage of all the Levico Terme races.
The third day issued the first partial verdicts, identifying the teams that, tomorrow, will compete for the eight trophies up for grabs, namely Pulcino d’Oro, Pulcino d’Argento, di Bronzo, Gialloblù and Pulcino Arcobaleno Rosso, Bianco, Azzurro and Verde .
A Saturday afternoon full of emotions and surprises took place, with races fought until the last seconds.
Among the “magnificent eight” competing for the prestigious Pulcino d’Oro are the Bianconeri of Juventus, who did well against Levante Azzurro, Vivi Don Bosco and ViPo Trento.
Milan won their group with Real Sito from Caserta second, Nuova Tor Tre Teste third and Dolomiti Bellunesi fourth.
Atletico Madrid beat Inter, with the Nerazzurri among the favorites to win the Silver Pulcino.
In third and fourth place Alcione Milano and Vis Pesaro.
Roma overcame the resistance of Dutch PSV Eindhoven in an exciting group until the last moment, with Palombina Vecchia and Paraiso.
Leeds United beat Vigor Senigallia, Sunderland and Bovolone 1918. Portuguese Benfica gained the pass over Dutch AZ Alkmaar, Vigor Perconti and Underland Berg. The title holders, the River Plate boys defeated the competition from San Luigi Trieste, Trento and Borgo. Finally Atalanta won the tough group with the surprising Franco Selvaggi Matera, Montebelluna and Virtus Bolzano.
Tomorrow the respective matches of the various groups will be played on the pitches of Viale Lido in Levico Terme starting from 8.20 am.
The top two classified in the two groups will start the final round, which in the afternoon will decide the winner of the Pulcino d’Oro.
Inter, the Dutch PSV and AZ are among the favorites for the Silver Pulcino d’Argento. Absolute surprises Levante Azzurro, Real Sito Vigor Senigallia, San Luigi Calcio Trieste and Franco Selvaggi.
For the Pulcino di Bronzo Trento will try to get the full spoils.
But it won’t be easy with opponents of the caliber of Nuova Tor Tre Teste, Vivi don Bosco, Alcione Milano, Palombina Vecchia, Sunderland, Vigor Perconti and Montebelluna. For the Pulcino Gialloblù the lot of participants is really very interesting.
From the Trentino people of ViPo Trento to the Campanians of Paraiso, passing through the Belluno Dolomites, Vis Pesaro, Bovolone 1918, Unterland Berg, Borgo and Virtus Bolzano.
The other teams, who after the morning selection phase in Levico Terme competed in the afternoon on the fields of Borgo Valsugana and Caldonazzo, will give life to the final rounds of the Pulcino Arcobaleno. Villa Cortese excelled in its group.

The Pulcino d’Oro Girls, played in the morning on the Caldonazzo pitch and in the evening in Levico Terme, brought top-level teams such as Inter, Milan, Roma and Cittadella Women into the final round to win the Pulcino d’Oro trophy.
For the Pulcino d’Argento there will be Juventus, Treviso Women, Rhodense and Accademia Calcio Vittuone. The Pulcino di Bronzo will be played between Pro Vercelli, Lady Maerne and Sala Bolognese.
All matches tomorrow, Sunday 16 June, will be played on the fields of the sports center in Viale Lido in Levico Terme as regards the Pulcino d’Oro International Tournament.
The Pulcino d’Oro Girls will start in Caldonazzo, with the final act on the pitch in Levico, filmed like the men’s final stages by Sportitalia.
