Rome, fatal accident on Colombo: 26-year-old motorcyclist loses his life

The patrols of the Local Police of Rome Capital, belonging to the XII Monteverde Group, intervened immediately at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Piaggio, a 34 year old man, was immediately rescued and transported to the Grassi hospital with several injuries. Although his condition is serious, doctors have reported that his life is not in danger. The young 21 year old woman who was driving the Ford Fiesta was subjected to a test to detect the presence of alcohol in her blood, resulting negative. Following the accident, the authorities decided to temporarily close via Cristoforo Colombo in the direction of Ostia, between Malafede and Acilia, to allow rescuers to operate safely and investigators to carry out the investigations necessary to understand the exact dynamics of the accident.
