The staff of the police station directed by the Deputy Police Commissioner Paolo Delli Colli arrested a Georgian citizen responsible for the burglary of a house in collaboration with another person arrested previously by Carabinieri personnel. The two had been caught in the act of committing a crime by the owner of the apartment stolen, but one of them managed to escape, while the other was handed over by a citizen to the soldiers who intervened. The officers, thanks to immediate information-investigative activity, identified the car in which the two criminals had arrived in the municipality of Ladispoli: it was parked in the car park of the Eurospin supermarket. After careful observation, the operating personnel discovered that the second perpetrator of the theft was hidden in the trunk of the car. The conspicuously discovered Georgian citizen attempted to escape, but was blocked despite resisting and subjected to arrest for the crimes of home burglary and receiving stolen goods as he was found in possession of goods removed from other apartments and for which investigations are underway to trace to the legitimate owners. Furthermore, he was reported in a state of freedom for the crime of resisting a public official. At the disposal of the judicial authority, the foreign citizen was associated with the Civitavecchia prison
