Ozzano Monferrato, meeting with Valeria Palumbo at the Casa delle Arti

Saturday 15 June, at 4pm, a very welcome return to Ozzano Monferrato at the Casa delle Arti in Via Trotti 1 of the writer Valeria Palumbo, for the presentation of her new book “S’avanza la mia ombra a passi di lupa” published by Enciclopedia delle Donne and dedicated to Romaine Brooks and the incendiary artists – writers, painters, actresses: Ida Rubinstein, Colette, Djuna Barnes, Renée Vivien and many others who theorized and made public their rejection of conventions by living openly and provocatively free, in creating and ‘love. “New” women, to whom a square, a street, or a page in a school book has rarely been dedicated, as if their revolution, public and private, should be obscured.

The exciting musical accompaniment by Carlo Rotondo will underline the salient moments of the author’s story.
