This morning the State Police, delegated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, executed a precautionary custody order in prison, issued last 10 June by the GIP at the Court of Naples against a 58-year-old Neapolitan with specific precedents, because he was seriously suspected, in collaboration with another unidentified person, of aggravated robbery and aggravated personal injury to the husband and wife inside their home in Naples.
The coup was on New Year’s Eve
The facts date back to 31 December 2023 when the couple, returning to their home, surprised the suspect and his accomplice inside the apartment. After being discovered, they tried to escape through the garden where, however, they remained trapped due to the entrance gate remaining closed.
Reached by the owner of the house, they engaged in a violent struggle and then suddenly returned inside the house and exited through the front door, managing, however, to remove numerous gold and diamond jewels owned by the couple.

During the escape, the suspects did not hesitate to hit, with unprecedented violence, the woman who, in the meantime, was trying to block them, falling down the stairs. The immediate and meticulous investigations carried out by the policemen of the Dante police station made it possible to give a face and a name to the recipient of today’s ordinance.
