A patrol dedicated only to the historic center. For a few days the Carabinieri of the Poggibonsi Company have in fact implemented a service which provides for the presence of a car in the streets of the Poggibonsi restricted traffic zone. And which is added to the normal control of the territory with the other patrols. A night service that runs from midnight to six in the morning. And which apparently gives the desired results since the violent brawls that occurred almost daily seem to have subsided.

The White Night was characterized by an episode which however does not seem to be attributable to the episodes which occurred in recent days in the historic centre. Yesterday, for reasons still being investigated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Siena, an argument broke out in Largo Gramsci. The protagonists were one of the young people who participated in some of the scheduled events and an officer of the Poggibonsi municipal police who was attacked.

The episode occurred just after 11.30pm last night. The carabinieri, state police, municipal police and 118 ambulances arrived on the scene as it was feared that someone, in addition to the traffic policeman, might have been injured. Among the first rumors that circulated were those of a new stabbing, which fortunately was later unconfirmed.

The police arrested the perpetrator of the attack on the traffic policeman.
