TERMOLI. On the day of the strike proclaimed by Uiltec and Femca-Cisl, the note from Fis Spa arrives.
«Following the strike announced by some trade unions at the FIS plant in Termoli today, the Company’s position.
FIS – Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici SpA (FIS) would like to point out that it has always maintained a transparent and constructive discussion with the various trade unions, which has led to the formulation of an economic proposal for the recognition of the participation bonus for the year 2023.
Although the economic-financial conditions for the accrual of a component of the bonus envisaged by the company supplementary contract, signed by the trade unions, have not been met, Fis has nevertheless given its willingness to recognize all the employees of the three sites of Termoli, Montecchio Maggiore and Lonigo, a total individual bonus which on average will exceed 4,000 euros, to which will also be added a further contribution in welfare services (Flexible benefits).
This is also an improvement proposal compared to what was provided last year, a choice that further confirms Fis’ continuous attention towards its employees, a human asset of great value that the Company places at the center of future development plans .
Fis notes with amazement the agitation and strike initiatives undertaken by some trade union organizations in an area such as that of Termoli, where the company has always promoted important investments aimed at increasing production capacity, with a significant contribution to growth of the territory also from an employment point of view”.
