Brescia. On Saturday 15 June, from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm, at the “Achille Papa” Day Center, in via del Santellone 2 in Brescia, a meeting will be held on the topic: “The impact of lifestyle and nutrition on the prevention and management of Alzheimer’s”.
Plan:
♦ 3.00pm – 3.30pm Welcome: Welcome and socialization with live music listening.
♦ 3.30pm – 4.00pm Information part: An expert gives a presentation on the scheduled topic, in an informal meeting.
♦ 4.00pm – 4.30pm Break: Opportunity to exchange experiences or requests in private, drink drinks and listen to live music.
♦ 4.30pm – 5.00pm Discussion: Public questions to the expert and discussion regarding the topic of the meeting; debate and comments.
♦ 5.00pm – 5.30pm Farewell Socializing and listening to live music.
Speaker: Daniela Letizia Uberti, Full professor of Pharmacology, President of the Pharmacy course, University of Brescia.
Alzheimer’s is a neurodegenerative disease progressive which represents one of the main causes of dementia in the elderly. Recent studies suggest that factors related to lifestyle and nutrition can influence significantly increases the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease and its progression. The meeting examines the scientific evidence regarding the role of physical activity, eating habits, and other lifestyle behaviors in the prevention and management of Alzheimer’s. The benefits of a balanced diet and the importance of regular exercise will be discussed. The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of lifestyle strategies that can help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and improve the quality of life of patients with the disease.
