This is what happened a few days ago in Sardinia, where a Brazilian tourist guide and influencer living in Dubai ignored every ban by landing on the famous and protected beach in the Maddalena archipelago.
A media storm broke out on social media thanks to the Coast Guard identifying and tracking down the woman in Dubai, where she had returned in the meantime, inflicting an administrative fine of 1800 euros on her.
The video on social media and the fine
The tour guide showed off the infraction on social media. A gesture that aroused much indignation among the Sardinians. Thanks to the videos, however, the investigators of the La Maddalena Coast Guard were able to recognize the woman and fine her. The fine is 300 euros for not having respected the ban on approaching and disembarking on the Rosa di Budelli beach – which has been in force for 30 years – while it is 1,500 euros for the catamaran on which Rogéria was travelling. The boat, in fact, was sailing in the waters of the Park without any entry authorisation, just as no authorization had been issued to the operator who had rented the dinghy.

The ban on access to the pink beach of Budelli
The access ban dates back 30 years now. Since 1994, in fact, it has no longer been possible to land on the pink beach of the islet of Budelli so as not to ruin the very delicate ecosystem that makes the color of the grains of sand unique. Over the years, however, there have been many tourists who have circumvented the ban by furtively going to the islet. Rarely, however, as in this case had anyone made a show of the infraction.
