Tragic accident on the A15, the Cisa motorway: on Tuesday evening, 40-year-old Giuseppe Francesco Bulla, a mechanical engineer originally from Borgo San Giacomo but who had been living in Castelleone, province of Cremona, lost his life. He died instantly due to the serious consequences of the accident in which he was involved: around 9pm he was riding his Suzuki motorbike when near the hamlet of Stradella, Municipality of Collecchio in the province of Parma, he crashed with an SUV Nissan, ending up being thrown from the two wheels until being hit by a Volkswagen Golf that was proceeding in the opposite direction.

The tragic accident

Extremely violent and unfortunately fatal impact: when the health workers from the Public Assistance of Collecchio, Felino and Sala Baganza arrived on site they could not help but confirm his death. The body is available to the judicial authority which could order further investigations: the investigations have been entrusted to the Traffic Police. As per practice, in cases like these, a case will be opened for road homicide.

The dire news also spread quickly to Borgo San Giacomo, where Giuseppe grew up and is still well known. “Our entire community is saddened by the tragic accident in which Giuseppe Francesco Bulla lost his life – writes the mayor Giuseppe Lama –: terrible news, condolences and a hug to the family. I contacted his family to get information on where to visit him and to find out about the funeral: nothing is known yet regarding a probable autopsy. We rally around them and offer our infinite condolences.”

Who was the victim

A long-time resident of the Cremonese area, he lived here with his partner, he leaves behind many memories in his town of origin: in 2009 he was also appointed councilor for education (the mayor was Giovanni Sora). Mechanical engineer, he worked for Dallara Automobili in Varano de ‘Melegari, province of Parma: born in 1984, he celebrated his birthday on May 2nd. A great sportsman, in his youth he had successfully played on football pitches, before dedicating himself to running, mountains and motorbikes.
