A few days before the vote, the strategies for forming the new councils that will govern the largest municipalities in the Casentino are ready. In Bibbiena, after the clear victory of Filippo Vagnoli, reconfirmed mayor for the second time, the games, at least the major ones, seem already over.
In fact, in addition to him, the voters also rewarded the three councilors who have administered with him in recent years.
Matteo Caporali, outgoing vice mayor and councilor for works who obtained 414 preferences, Daniele Bronchi, former councilor for commerce and the environment who had 325 votes and Francesca Nassini, outgoing councilor for sport who beat everyone with 476 preferences, a sign of a high level of acceptance by the population.
And it is not excluded that she could be the new vice mayor. Many votes were also obtained by Vittoria Valentini (285), Kumar Amar (270) and Simone Cordovani from Serravalle (239), a strategic town in the heart of the Park which will certainly claim its representative in the council.
Mayor Filippo Vagnoli still does not say anything about names and roles within the new council, even if something suggests. “For the composition of the new team – he says – we will take into account the work carried out, which is what was rewarded by the citizens. This will be fundamental. Then obviously we will focus on the experiences and skills that can be made available to the community. As always the commitment of the council will be maximum, in the presence, in the work and in being available to all citizens. This is also a fundamental and founding characteristic, I would say, of our administrative action or active presence”.
Everything to be created from the new one in Poppi where Federico Lorenzoni has taken away the mayor’s seat from Carlo Toni and is now preparing to choose the team with which he will administer for the next five years. And it seems that he already has clear ideas and we don’t have to wait too long, even if for now he won’t say anything about names and roles. “The council will be established this Saturday or Monday at the latest – says the new mayor of Poppi.
The councilors will most likely be chosen based on preferences, but above all on the specific skills that each of them has. However, even those who do not enter the Council will have their weight. The councilors will have an important role and everyone will be involved. We are setting up an association that will support the list and everyone will have adequate space. We need enthusiasm, work, professionalism and heart and the people who supported me, followed me and helped me have these prerogatives which are fundamental for Poppi now”..
