Jacobs: “We entered the track very energized, full of energy, we wanted this victory and we took it. I had already said after my 100th that the movement had really changed, that we would all not come down just to participate, but to bring home a medal or get a result. We too took to the track tonight knowing that we had to bring home the gold medal. We are happy because the athletics are there, Italy is there and we will continue like this in Paris 2024 after a European Championship like this it only brings us even more energy, more desire to get on track and achieve results.
