Interpump shares ready to rise?

If Interpump shares have gained over 1500% since the beginning of their more than twenty-year adventure on the stock market, haven’t they particularly stood out in the last year, losing around 20%? What could happen in the next few weeks given that prices are at very important levels? Meanwhile, the company continues to expand externally by acquiring companies abroad.

Interpump breaks through the wall of the hundredth acquisition in its history

Interpump has reached a significant milestone with its 101st acquisition, purchasing Alfa Valvole from the US-based Idex Corporation for €55 million. Despite the acquisition, Alfa Valvole will continue to be managed by the current managers, who will operate in line with the group’s strategies. Alfa Valvole, based in Casorezzo (Milan), specializes in the design and production of high-quality, high-service volumetric pumps. In 2022, it generated revenues of €28 million, with an EBITDA margin of 26% and cash of €11 million. In 2021, Alfa Valvole merged with Obl, expanding its ability to provide fluid management solutions in the water treatment, mining, oil & gas, marine and rail transport sectors, as well as the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

Interpump, with a capitalization of 4.7 billion euros, continues to invest profits in business development, maintaining moderate annual dividends. Since its debut on the stock exchange in 1996, the stock has increased its value by approximately 14 times, while turnover has grown by 11.2 times, reaching 2.24 billion euros in 2023 (+7.8%). 2023 EBITDA rose to 536 million euros (24% margin) and net profit to 277.5 million euros (+2.9%).

Interpump acquired the English Alltube Engineering and expanded its presence in Asia by acquiring 60% of Process Partners China and increasing its stake in Yrp (Shanghai) Flow Technology to 60%. This external growth strategy has consolidated Interpump’s position as a leader in the high pressure hydraulic and hydraulic pump sector.

The indications of the graphic analysis
