Tuesday 11 Juneat the Turin Chamber of Commerce, the first meeting of the Legality consultancy, participated by all the economic categories of the province, a project supported by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and implemented by Notice Public, which aims to train entrepreneurs to prevent and combat mafia infiltration in the Turin area.
During the meeting the Council agreed to organize a first seminar which aims to carry out a detailed context analysiswith the aim of identifying the main areas of interest and subsequently establishing thematic working groups.
Among the main aims of the project is to promote a network of legality organized throughout the entire territory of the province of Turin, through the information and training of entrepreneurs, creating a permanent table for discussion and collaboration with the relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies which allows the monitoring of the phenomenon, the exchange of information and reports, as well as the evaluation of the impact of actions that will be implemented, especially in terms of prevention. The project also includes the carrying out of a training course with seminars dedicated to understanding the mafia phenomenon in the various sectors of the economy, as well as the creation of an online handbook indicating the subjects to whom any suspicious situations can be reported and the methods for doing so.
