The outgoing regent mayor of Rovereto, who added Officina Comune to the centre-left coalition of the first round, made up of the Pd, Campobase, Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, Rovereto Libera and Civici per l’autonomy, beat the candidate of the centre-right (excluding Fratelli d ‘Italy) Gianpiero Lui for 57.1% to 42.9% (only one section left to scrutinize). In the run-off for the choice of the mayor of Rovereto, 53.1% of those entitled to vote voted: comparing it with that of the first round, 49.2%, the turnout increased.
