Accident in Vallelunga, motorcyclist Massimo Bottari dies

His passions are motorbikes and travel. He was a well-known name at the Vallelunga Massimo Bottari racetrack. The Roman motorcyclist from Garbatella, 61 years old, died yesterday afternoon, Sunday 9 June, after an accident with his motorbike on the circuit, during free practice.

His motorbike was impacted, at the exit of a curve, on the edge of the track of the Campagnano racetrack, perhaps due to an oversight or an illness, without having contact with other vehicles.

Bottari died after being transferred to the Sant’Andrea hospital in Rome. The injuries are too serious. The Carabinieri of the Bracciano company took care of the findings.

In the motorcycling world, Bottari was also well known because he was part of the Rosmas motoclub, the Italian motorcycle federation that promotes sport on two wheels.
