Brothers of Italy first party, Pd separates the others
Brothers of Italy confirms itself as the first party. According to the Opinio exit polls for Rai, it would be between 26 and 30%, followed by PD which exceeds the 20% bar and is between 21-25%. The counting of the European elections began at 11pm to choose Italy’s 76 members of the European Parliament.
The first data, still with very wide ranges, would show a neck and neck between Forza Italia (8.50-10.50) and Lega (8-10%)with the Azzurri slightly ahead. Third party, the M5S which would fluctuate between 10-14%. The alliance of Bonelli and Fratoianni (Avs) would exceed, again according to the exit polls, the 4% threshold hovering between 5-7%. The fate of Emma Bonino and Matteo Renzi’s United States of Europe list (between 3.5-5.5%) and Carlo Calenda’s Azione list (between 2.5-4.5%) is more uncertain. In these two days we also voted for the renewal of the administration of the Piedmont Region and 3698 Municipalities, including capitals such as Florence, Bari and Cagliari. Meanwhile, in Europe, according to the EP’s first projection, the right-wing and sovereignists are growing in the European Chamber but, apparently, without subverting the parliamentary balance.
