Rome, 9 June 2024 – Another gold and a silver in an already swollen palmares for theItaly. To climb to the top step of the podium European Athletics Championships 2024 Yeman Crippawho won the half marathon in 1h01’03; immediately below another blue, Pietro Riva. Bronze for the German Petros who succumbed when entering the stadium: after stumbling on a bend he was unable to even defend second place. Italy also wins theteam gold thanks to the placement of the other Italians in the top 10: 6th place for Selvarolo, 8th for Faniel and 10th for Chiappinelli.
