TRIESTE – Yesterday afternoon, June 8, a tragic head-on accident occurred in Sistiana, causing the death of two people. The episode involved a Mercedes led by a seventy-year-old resident in the municipality of Duino Aurisina it’s a Peugeot 5008 conducted by the taxi driver from Gorizia Roberto Burigato.
The dynamics of the accident
According to the testimonies collected by Carabinieri of Aurisina, la Mercedes of the seventy-year-old would have suddenly crossed into the oncoming lane, crashing head-on into the Peugeot 5008 of Burigato. The accident occurred shortly after 3.30pm at the junction leading to Sistiana Sea.

Death of the Mercedes driver
