The first edition of the Talent Catcher ended with the victory of Mara Maionchi who dissolved into tears of emotion and also apologies towards her talents Black Widow and Gina de Boer. The record producer performed with them, but her performance was not as good as in the rehearsals and was harshly criticized by Teo Mammucari.

The argument with Teo Mammucari
The final of Talent Catcher was full of emotions and even tears, especially for Mara Maionchi who won the first edition, despite a heavy argument with Teo Mammucari which made her cry.
Maionchi’s performance, together with her talents, was strongly criticized by Teo Mammucari who accused her of not having moved and not having danced with them. The producer, in fact, immediately apologized to the public and to the Black Widow, but Milly Carlucci intervened to calm the situation, broadcasting a video clip of the performance.
Teo Mammucarithen intervened because he claimed that the video dated back to the day before, during the rehearsals, when Mara Maionchi was in better shape: «I’m not stupid, these are the shots of yesterday’s rehearsals. Tonight she was always still, only moving her head for a few seconds. This is a clean 4.”
The music producer then felt attacked and responded in kind: «Well then, what do you want? Now stop it because you pissed me off, I’m here with them. What the fuck, he’s been busting balls all day. I got emotional because I feel sorry for them (the Black Widow, ed.), I made a mistake and I wouldn’t want them to be penalized now.”
Simona Ventura tried to calm the situation and ran to Mara’s rescue: «Enough, you don’t have to cry, you chose these girls who love you very much. And even if you didn’t get a few tricks right, you remain in the great humanity of this moment”, while Teo didn’t miss the opportunity to strike the final blow: “Mara, you’re right to cry, you ruined everything. And now with these tears you only want the votes.”
The episode ended with the victory of Mara who, despite her unsuccessful performance, won the hearts of the audience and the jury with her humanity.
The ratings and criticisms
Talent Catcher received some criticism, given the not very high ratings and Milly Carlucci explained from Francesca Fialdini to Freewheeling here how he takes criticism: «I accept it if it is constructive but not if it is unfair and unjustified. What happened to Acchiappatalenti is that even before the program began there were bad comments on social media and this is serious because it also represents today’s society. For example, the insults that leave kids traumatized. I believe that there shouldn’t be this type of bullying among adults because we should set an example for younger people. Furthermore, it’s useless to do so many awareness campaigns if it doesn’t start from us. Constructive criticism, however, is there.”
