Shortly afterwards they joined him and, continuing to laugh, they also started throwing some objects they had in the car at him, obtaining their result: the fall from the bike. At that point they set off again at high speed, perhaps looking for other people to bother. The boys, all from municipalities neighboring Ferentino, would not have imagined that the man on the bike was a policeman from the Ferentino station, off duty, who, thanks to the license plate number, took little time to understand who the owner was and who he was. in the car with him and, above all, to understand that they were students of the same class who attend the last year of a high school in Ferentino. The policeman also inquired about the end time of the lessons and at 2.20pm, in uniform and with the company car, together with his colleagues he was found outside the school waiting for the children. At the sight of the men in uniform, the four young people initially remained indifferent and calm, then when the carabiniere who had been targeted by the group on Via Casilina approached the driver of the SUV, the boys understood that something was not right. . They recognized the soldier they had previously mocked while he was on his bicycle.

The police asked who the other three in the vehicle and the documents were. The four boys identified were thus taken to the barracks where they were fined, as well as receiving a scrupulous lesson in civic education and lifestyle that they will remember for a long time.
