Sala Consilina, last night the “Cicerone dresses chic” fashion show

An evening event that celebrated the commitment, study and creativity of the students of the Itis Sistema Moda specialization of the “Marco Tullio Cicerone” Institute in Sala Consilina. Yesterday evening, at the “Mario Scarpetta” Municipal Theater, the Institute’s end-of-year fashion show called “Cicerone dresses chic” was held. The girls of the IIIC, IVC and VC classes, with the help of the specialization teachers, Professor Alessandra Guida, professor of Fashion and design and the teacher Mariachiara Volpe Del Franco, technician of Fashion and design, presented three wonderful steps of the fashion show dedicated to cocktail dresses, evening dresses and formal dresses.

The fashion show was presented by the institute representative and student of the VC class, Michela De Luca and by Jacopo Petrizzo, while the students Diana Lovaglio and Anna Carmen Manzo took care of the lights and sound. Among the guests Oriana Parrella of Stregatta Fashion, known for basing her brand on the concepts of sustainability, inclusiveness and solidarity and lei, presented by prof. Morena, the stylist Antonio Martino, who, unable to be present in person at the evening, sent a video with all the masterpieces he created. Furthermore, the large audience present was able to attend a special performance of the Educational Dance Laboratory, conducted by the teacher Antonella Morena, an initiative that involved students for the entire school year during the afternoon hours. On stage is a show of Rueda Salsa, a Caribbean dance created with maestro Vincenzo D’Elia, President of the Santa Barbara Association of Teggiano. Finally, the singing performance by Emilio Petrosino of 3D Itis was also highly appreciated.

The evening ended with greetings from the Mayor Francesco Cavallone and speeches from the vice principal Michelina Gasaro and the principal Antonella Vairo. “A beautiful and participatory moment – stated the school director Vairo –, in which the girls were able to show what they do at school, and their talents, but they also put themselves on the line. Fashion is a very interesting field because it allows those who have this passion to cultivate it and be able to undertake various paths in the world of work, to collaborate with other stylists or even to continue their university studies by graduating in the teaching of specialized subjects. Alongside the girls we also had adult students from the evening course who created very meaningful clothes, with a call to peace. Many accessories were also made. It was truly an emotional moment.”
