Thick smoke rose around 10:00 this Saturday from the roof of a building located in Via Roma in Cedegolo. The flames spread quickly while some workers were working on it. The building is in fact undergoing renovation. For this reason, no one was inside, except for the lower floors, which however were not affected by the fire.
The fire brigade was immediately alerted: several teams were on site to put out the fire flames, in an operation that proved complicated. Detachments intervened on site Edolo, Vezza d’Oglio, Breno and Darfo, with tanker and ladder truck.
An ambulance from L’Arnica di Berzo Demo was also on site to provide assistance. Fortunately no one was involved. The causes of the fire are being investigated by the Carabinieri of the local station.
This morning’s emergency was triggered after a night of work for the Brescia operations room, which was alerted as early as 3:00 due to the fire of a car that was parked inside a private courtyard in Pian Camuno. The flames rose from the vehicle and also affected the roof of the house.
The team that arrived on site extinguished the fire using the new extinguishing liquids, ensuring the conditions of the house and the owner. No injuries or damage other than the car were reported.
