All in black with a python leather jacket, in two and three quarter hours the Commander performed all his most famous songs, from ‘Bollicine’ to ‘Sally’, from ‘C’è chi dice no’ to ‘Rewind’, from ‘It’s just us’ to ‘Vita spericolata’ until the closing with ‘Albachiara’ in a riot of confetti. The 72-year-old rocker from Zocca has attacked wars and fake news, totalitarianism, hypocrisies and prejudices, with a couple of jabs at the government. The first to the prime minister when she sings ‘Asilo Republic’ (“And then you will see with the police that the situation will return, as before, more than before, Giorgia! I’ll love you (yeah), Giorgia I’ll love you”), and then to the leader Northern League (“It doesn’t take much to be intolerant, tell that to Salvini and to those who vote for Salvini”).
The next Milanese dates
The invitation, with fierce irony, is to go beyond conformism and to try, even if “it will be difficult to get out of this situation”. “To all the scoundrels who rule this world”, his ‘dedication’ before ‘The shots above’ with the solo by guitarist Stef Burns. On the 86 meter wide maxi-stage the Komandante confirmed himself as the king of concerts while awaiting the other six Milanese dates (the first tonight then the 11th, 12th, 15th, 19th and finally 20th June) which will bring the number of concerts to 36 his evenings at San Siro from the distant ‘Front of the stage Tour’ on 10 July 1990. The four concerts in Bari will follow (25, 26, 29 and 30 June) at the San Nicola stadium. All strictly ‘sold out’, like the ones in Milan.
