The Shin Bet and theIdfthe intelligence and army of the State of Israel, confirmed the recovery of the 4 hostages alive in the center of the Gaza Strip. The 4 had been kidnapped by Hamas at the Nova Music Festival. “The hostages – they said in a joint statement – were rescued by the Shin Bet and army fighters from two different locations during the operation in the heart of Nuseirat. Their medical conditions are normal and they have been transferred to Sheba-Tel Hashomer Medical Center for further medical tests. Security forces continue to use all efforts to rescue the abductees.”

Meanwhile, the war cabinet minister and centrist leader Benny Gantz he canceled this evening’s press conference on the expiration of the ultimatum given to the prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the change of policy in the war in Gaza, under penalty of leaving the government. The announcement came immediately after the news that the IDF had freed the 4 Israeli hostages.
