Last day in Muggiò: voting on Saturday and Sunday

The polls in Muggiò will be open on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June. On Saturday we will vote from 2pm to 10pm, on Sunday from 7am to 11pm. We will vote for both the local elections and the European elections to elect the new Italian representatives to the Strasbourg Parliament.

At the end of the voting operations (Sunday) the counting of the European elections will begin, for the counting of the administrative elections we will have to wait until Monday 10th. If none of the five aspirants reach 50% in the first round the possible second round will take place on the 23rd and on June 24th.

To vote, simply show up at the polling stations with your voter card and a valid identity document. Anyone who has not received the electoral card, or has lost it, can contact the municipal electoral office (Palazzo Isimbardi headquarters in Piazza Matteotti 5 on the ground floor) without the need for an appointment.

The Office will remain open on an extraordinary basis today, Friday 7 June, continuously from 9am to 6pm; Saturday 8 June from 8.45am to 12pm and from 3pm to 11pm and Sunday 9 June from 7am to 11pm.

Five candidates are running

There are five challengers in the running to win the tricolor band and the mayor’s seat. The other Wednesday the candidates faced each other during the Face to face organized by the editorial team of Monza newspaper.

There is a match Emanuele Castelli23 years old, supported by the Muggiò Civica list. Michele Messina63 years old, will instead be supported by the centre-right made up of The city I would like, Forza Italia, Fratelli d’Italia, Lega and Forza Muggiò.

Also running Anna Franzoni31 years old, who brought together the Center-Left made up of the Civic Alliance, the Democratic Party, the Civic Democrats and Insieme per Muggiò.

It also shows up Gianluca Angelini, 53 years old, with the BuonSenso civic list. Then, there is Franco Vantellino former leading exponent of Forza Italia now running for Civica Zanantoni.
