REDEVELOPMENT OF OLD SALARIA: FIRST MEETING WITH CITIZENS TO PRESENT THE PROJECT IN BORGO QUINZIO

The meeting with the citizens of the Borgo Quinzio hamlet, owners of homes that fall within the area of ​​the redevelopment works of Salaria Vecchia, ended a short while ago. The meeting, which saw active and numerous participation, represents a crucial moment for sharing and presenting a project that has been awaited for years, aimed at improving road conditions and the quality of life in the local community.

The project for the reconstruction and redevelopment of the Salaria Vecchia section was developed through a long consultation process with technicians and other competent authorities. The procedures for the feasibility study were started at the beginning of the year, and after numerous meetings and analyses, a detailed definition of the intervention was reached.

The President of the Province of Rieti, Roberta Cuneo, declared: “We are happy to be able to share this project with the citizens. It is a significant step towards improving the quality of life of the residents of Borgo Quinzio. We are aware of the difficulties that this road has caused over the years and we are happy to finally be able to implement effective solutions to resolve these problems. Today we shared a project that not only aims to redevelop the area, but also to revamp the social fabric of Borgo Quinzio demonstrated collaboration”.

The project involves a substantial intervention which, in addition to the resurfacing of the road surface, will guarantee the redevelopment of the entire area. During the meeting, the technical details and expected benefits were illustrated, with particular attention to road safety and improvement of traffic.

“We are confident of starting work by the end of the year, with a well-structured plan shared with the community to meet everyone’s needs and expectations. I thank Councilor Cristina Di Felice for her commitment and dedication in coordinating for this important meeting today and for the attention dedicated to the project”.
Further meetings open to all citizens will follow to present the project in detail, share implementation times and discuss any critical issues. The Municipal Administration invites all citizens to participate in these events to continue to build a better future together for Borgo Quinzio and for the entire community of Fara in Sabina.
